Diwali and Children’s Day Celebration

Hate cannot drive out Hate. Only love can do that.Darkness cannot drive out darkness. Only light can do that.Diwali is the festival of lights and is celebrated throughout Indiawith great fervor and happiness since time immemorial, tocelebrate the Victory of Rama for killing Ravana and rescuingSita from captivity in Lanka. Though the teachers and the schooldecided to forgo such celebrations due to the covid19pandemic considering the plight of people who lost jobs andfamilies and friends brooding over the death of the loved ones,this festival was celebrated keeping in minds our youngchildren, who are our future. We nurture them to grow up tobe able leaders and lead the world towards light and on thischildren’s day, we didn’t want to disappoint them. We wish thiseducation of light takes over the darkness of differences,injustice and violence, and guides us towards progress, equalityand freedom.
